Nick D'Amato > The Northbound Carolinian rounds a curve, coming into view of eager passengers on the platform of the new Durham, NC station.
Nick D'Amato > Passengers take a break to stretch their legs or catch a smoke as the southbound Silver Star sits at the platform in Raleigh. A large crowd in the station awaits their chance to board the train bound for warmer climes.
Nick D'Amato > Durham's new bus station is ablaze with light on a rainy fall night, as Amtrak's eastbound Piedment train picks up passengers at the new train station in the background. The new transportation facilities have drastically improved the experience of public transit in the city.
